A new poll shows the majority of adults in California believe the United States should not take a side when it comes to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Remnants of a wet Wednesday were expected to linger in the Bay Area on Thursday in the form of scattered showers, according to the National Weather Service.A weakening cold front coming from the Pacific Northwest was predicted to linger in the region until the early evening. Those showers, which bring quick bouts of light rainfall, weren’t expected to bring more than a fraction of an inch of precipitation, the NWS said.Scattered showers currently on radar and expected to continue overnight. Scattered showers that lingered overnight Wednesday will give way to another push of rain that's possible for Thursday morning, the NWS said. (KRON) -- The San Rafael Police Department is investigating an incident in which a bicyclist was struck and killed near a railroad crossing last Saturday. San Rafael PD officers responded to Andersen Drive at the Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit (S.M.A.R.T.) crossing at 7:45 a.m. on a report of a vehicle versus bicyclist collision, police said.SRPD officers, along with the San Rafael Fire Department, arrived on the scene and found the bicyclist deceased. Santa Rosa PD's Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating. (KRON) – New details from the SoFi stadium assault at the 2022 NFC championship game have emerged.Daniel Luna, a San Francisco 49ers fan, was assaulted in a SoFi Stadium parking lot during the 2022 NFC championship game. Luna’s injuries left him in a medically induced coma. Sonoma County supervisors pass anti-sideshow ordinance Lawyers for the County of Los Angeles say the video shows Luna tried to enter the game without a ticket and was turned away. The lawyers also accuse Luna of being intoxicated. Luna's family believes it's the job of the police to make sure he was placed in a holding area or even a squad car while he was intoxicated for his safety.
